As for ...Oh, I want to read Gourmet Rhapsody too! <br /><br />As for The Good Earth, when I was very young we went and visited her birthplace. (Pear Buck) My family hails from the same town, Hillsboro, West Virginia. I think I've read another of her books but never The Good Earth. I saw it at Costco and picked it up over 6 months ago and yet haven't read it! Somehow fiction is always the last in my pile. <br /><br />Enjoy your time reading by the pool!
