Little Things

A few little gifts that I've enjoyed...

FITBIT FLEX or FITBIT FORCE

I don't have the Force, only the Flex but so far I'm loving this little device. For someone seriously into fitness, this probably won't give enough information, but it is enough to get me motivated to move more and be aware of my activity level. Plus, it's simple to use and wear and the app works well.

iPHONE CAMERA LENS

Of course, I'd love a really nice set, but the cheaper ones are still tons of fun and add some creativity to my phone photos. The one I have was under 10 dollars and has 3 lens: one micro/macro and the other two are variations of wide angle/fisheye. Tons of fun and small enough to toss in your bag or purse.

BOOKS

Who doesn't love a hefty stack of a dozen or so lovely books? Hardback or paperback, they're all wonderful.

KINDLE

Amazon gift cards, Kindle Paperwhite, ebooks.... they're all wonderful. I love Amazon.

ANYTHING APPLE

What can I say? I'm an Apple girl. Who wouldn't love a beautiful, new Macbook Pro, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod, etc. etc. Apple is a Girl's Best Friend. Skip the diamonds or jewelry.

Day 8 and a Half - Railroad Tracks

I don't know why Noel is so dastardly. She tied Gabriel to the tracks! Then manned the train to RUN HIM OVER! We had to intervene.

Day 8 - TP and The Tree

We hadn't yet gotten to decorate the tree, so the elves decorated it for us! A garland of white toilet paper! What a surprise!

Day 7 - Zipline

Our elves have an adventurous spirit and set up their own candy cane zipline today. Looked like lots of fun! 

Day 6- Noel is Naughty. (again).

Noel didn't take too kindly to the note that Gabriel wrote about her on Day 5. So she bound him upside down to the refrigerator! Oh my!

Day 5 and a Half - Hot Chocolate

We had a cold snap! We were in the '30's (lower?) a few mornings this week. Even the afternoon was a chilly 53. So the Elves helped themselves to hot chocolate. And had it all ready for the kids when they came home from school. Such nice, thoughtful elves! 

Day 5: Snow Angels

Today Noel finally did it: Snow Angels. Only she(thankfully!) didn't use flour; she used fake snow that looks like bits of clear-white plastic. Hey, at least it is easy to clean up!
It looks like Gabriel once again tried to keep her in check; he wrote a note on a blackboard to Santa saying that Noel has been very naughty.

For some reason, Katie is THRILLED when the elves (especially Noel) does naughty things!
